We find recipes shared by real home cooks around the internet. Each one is screened for quality, then personally reviewed by our Japanese curator before it appears here. If it made the cut, it means: the recipe is genuine, it's achievable, and it's worth your dinner time.

We never republish full recipes. Cook Japanese stores a short summary in our own words and links you straight to the original creator, so the clicks, credit and traffic belong to them.
